The new Jay Turser JT-200 SERPENT electric guitar offers the highest-quality materials and attention-to-detail craftsmanship and a stunning, multi-piece Abalone and Mother-of-Pearl Serpent inlay that spans from the third to the nineteenth fret. The SERPENT is a Jay Turser exclusive Classic Variation body design. The spectacular wood grain of the contoured solid body is a highly detailed book matched flame, dramatically enhanced through a beautiful, high gloss, transparent finish. The SERPPENT is available in five transparent colors, Antique Natural Sunburst (ANS), Purple Sunburst (PS), Red Sunburst (RS), Transparent Black (TBLK) and Transparent Red (TR).
The Jay Turser SERPENT is designed for the player who wants the fat, full sound from two covered, high-gain, dual-coil, hum-canceling pickups. A 3-position selector switch allows the rhythm, lead, or both pickups to be activated. Pick-ups are controlled by individual volume and tone controls.
The SERPENT's body, neck and headstock features gold hardware and cream binding, as well as a cream pick guard and truss rod cover. The inlaid headstock features precision, diecast gold tuning machines (3 x 3 configuration) that provide quick, smooth and accurate tuning. The set maple neck, with Rosewood fingerboard, features 22 jumbo frets and a dramatic, multi-piece Abalone and Mother-of-Pearl, 17 fret-long Serpent inlay that will make every player a standout on-stage. The deep lower cutaway allows incredible playability all the way up to the neck's 22nd fret. The JT-200 SERPENT features a fully adjustable bridge with individual string saddles and a stop tailpiece.
