NAMM Update: MXR M-80 Bass D.I.+

Another cool product our bass players will be interested in is the new MXR M-80 Bass D.I.+ from Dunlop Manufacturing. This unit sounded great in the demo we received on the NAMM show floor. This extremely useful unit is loaded with functionality which includes:
Fully controllable DISTORTION channel, with adjustable gain, volume and blend.
Smart NOISE GATE with an adjustable sensitivity trigger to eliminate unwanted hiss and hum.
A COLOR switch for a quick, preset EQ contour that immediately puts your bass tone into the "sweet spot" of the mix.
A BALANCED Direct In for a solid direct-to-PA or direct injection to the board signal path.
Our experience in the demo was that you bass players are going to be drooling over this unit. Make sure when it hits the shelves that you get yourselves in the local music store to play with one.
