4-Year Old Phenom Cole Marcus Drums on Mapex Custom Kit

One of America’s most popular brands of drums among young and beginning drummers, Mapex Drums, announced today that 4-year old child prodigy Cole Marcus has become an exclusive endorser of the company’s drum kits. Marcus, who has been drumming since infancy and learned to play on a Mapex drumset, is the youngest performer and songwriter ever to have a BMI Publishing contract.

“For Mapex, Cole personifies our commitment to young drummers,” said Chuck Turk, Vice President and General Manager of Mapex USA, who made the announcement. “Our entry level Chopper Series and V-Series kits are made in the same place and by the same hands that craft our highest end drumsets. At just four years of age, the gifted Marcus is already a tremendous drumming talent and has reached some amazing milestones. Earlier this year, he was a featured guest on NBC’s Today show and a finalist on the network’s Most Talented Kid program. Other recent television performances included the Sharon Osbourne Show and the Ellen DeGeneres Show, and many more are scheduled.
