The Jay Turser JTA-40CEQ features a select Spruce top with Mahogany back and sides, a Rosewood bridge, 4-ply (BWBW) binding and an Abalone Rosette. The Mahogany 20-fret neck features a Rosewood fingerboard, cream binding and dot inlays. The headstock, like the body, features 4-ply (BWBW) binding and precision, diecast chrome tuning machines (3 x 3 configuration) that provide quick, accurate and silky smooth tuning.
The Jay Turser JTA-40CE features an under-the-bridge piezo pick-up and Jay Turser's exclusive EQ-754R Active Electronics. The4-band, active EQ-754R electronics features control over the Bass, Treble, Midrange, and Presence frequencies for unlimited tonal variations. The control panel, located on the topside of the instrument, also features the master volume control. The 9-volt battery is housed in an easily accessible compartment on the EQ control panel and a red LED Battery Check status light illuminates when the instrument is plugged in and is active.
The deep, lower body cutaway allows easy playability all the way up to the neck's 20th fret.
