I hope someone else can help with this, honestly I had to ask the spouse since I really just pick up and play random things rather than pay attention (sometimes) to what I am playing on.

He said:

Purple = Jackson Dinky Standard, "Professional" series. Has licensed Floyd Rose bridge made by Schaller. Two Jackson single coils and one Washburn humbucker. 5-way switch. Alder body and 24 fret maple neck, low/fast action.

Black = Ibanez RG 1820 (clean) Manually Blocked tremolo

So for both of these, if anyone could help to shoot me in the right direction for some semi simple/still productive songs that would be helpful. smile

Edit: Most of the time, if I can hear the song, I can play it. smile

What type of music do you like? Are you playing by ear or by notes? I myself can not read notes worth a lick so for me it takes a little longer getting the feel for a song before I try it. And a Jackson Dinky is not that bad to start off with, I had something years ago that looked like my brother gave it to me after he found it in the dumpster, be thankful it could be much worse.
