I'm just wondering what everyone drools over when they go guitar shopping/dreaming.

Personally I'm absolutely in love with the first edition PRS Modern Eagles.
There's one that I've been eyeballing for a several years now, but I just don't have the cash to put down on it yet.

I'm lucky in that I have my dream bass -- A USA made Lakland 55-94. I'm really interested in the Dingwall Combustion right now, though. It's a radical bass -- fanned frets, multi-scale (37" B, 34" G). Dingwalls had been prohibitively expensive -- around $3500, till the Combustion, which is $1100. Maybve if I sell one of my other basses, I'll chcek out the Dingwall.

I'm a big fan of the PRS Korina McCarty in au-Natural with the inlays. With one rug rat in the pig pen and another crib midget on the way, I just can't justify, but if my better half ever reads this, I would be forever indebted. Of course, she's already got half my $hit as she says, so why don't I just cough up the other half, buy the axe, and have another cold one in this joint just off the 405..

It never rains in Southern California...

I'm a huge PRS advocate. All of the McCartys are awesome. I recently played one of the newer ones (I think it was the Smokeburst) and it was amazing.
I love the classic look of the McCartys and the SC245s. Plus both guitars sound sweet, smooth and "vintage-ish".
I've always wanted a white SC245, but they keep coming down in price (plus they're discontinued) so maybe I'll get lucky and get one for super cheap.
I'll always dream about a Modern Eagle, though.

I am lucky to have my dream electric. My cherry burst American Deluxe Strat produces exactly the tone I want. They are also very affordable in the scheme of things. The best part... My buddies all chipped in and bought it for me for my bachelor party. Best. Friends. Ever.

However, I would love to add my second dream guitar to my arsenal. It is also a PRS. One that I get to build or choose from the Private Stock. Whale blue finish. 24 frets. Brazilian fretboard, which may be tough to get anymore. The problem... $10,000+ I am no stranger to 10K dollar guitars, but this one is not anywhere in the near future. Unless... Are you reading this PRS?

Oh, how we dream of the day when Private Stock PRS's are given to us by the Guitar Gods.
My Private Stock would have to be a 24 fret, Charcoal Burst Hollobody II, rosewood neck/fretboard, mahogany back, curly maple top/sides with the mixed color "old bird" inlays.
I've given this one some thought over the years. Haha

My dream guitar is a Fender Deluxe Nashville Power Telecaster with a B-bender and some modified tone pots.

Anything Pierre Erizias. His stuff at Summer NAMM was amazing. I'm still saving up for one...

Agreed. That fretless he had at NAMM was killer.
