I just saw Conor Oberst not too long ago, and his bassist had finger cymbals.
I should add that he put on an AMAZING show. I would go as far as to say (even several days after the concert, now that it's had time to sink in) that he's a modern day Bob Dylan and David Bowie combined. Just considering all of the variance in his work from Bright Eyes, Death Cab, Postal Service, and others, now to Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band. They're pretty heavy compared to his other stuff.
