I wish I had the money for one of these right now. Honestly I was surprised they didn't skip a 6-core processor and go right to 8-core on one processor. Gotta love those power of 2!!

absolutely!, if you have the money, definatly go with the mac pro vs High end iMac, it will last you longer and is easier to upgrade when you have some extra cash.

I have a dual quad core mac with 12 gb of ram 4 tb storage and so much more. Everything runs perfectly. Logic is flawless - ProTools runs like an HD system. If you make money mixing/tracking/creating with your computer - it's a must a have! The investment will pay for itself in the hours you're saved...
