It is definitely not a performance quality guitar but for someone just wanting to get their feet wet it is a good instrument. Minor upgrades, such as better quality strings and tuner, could make it performance ready. Congrats on the buy, and for barely 100 bucks, that's very well a good save. These days 100 bucks only gets you so far.
