gearhed newbie Registered: 05/23/09 Posts: 25	I have been working on turntablism for a couple of years now, and I have liked the Denon line of products, especially the newer hard disc drive units- you can keep all of your music on the unit itself with only one drive to carry to a gig. This new mixer looks cool- has anyone tried it? Its 'Utility Mode' looks very useful...

Right now, I am trying to learn a bit of guitar; however, all these things are great to know and I thank you guys for posting these threads.

Dave Molter addict Registered: 11/25/09 Posts: 691 Loc: Pittsburgh, PA	I'm not a DJ, so I have never tried any Denon equipment, but I know they come highly recommended and that Denon has good rep. I wasn't able to scre up any web reviews of the DN X-1700, but Denon has just released the DN X-1600, which is supposed to be a more affordable unit based on the DN X-1700 that includes the ability to work with both sound and video. There will be a preview of it up in the MGR DJ equipment area soon.
