how often do you replace your straps on your guitar? is it when its worn out or are you an impulsive buyer ?

I've only bought about four straps over more than three decades. I don't play full-time anymore and some of my guitars don't have straps on them. I play some of them sitting down if I'm adding a track to a recording.

And when I was playing live a lot, I only doubled on guitar so I wouldn't wear them out so easily.

If I was going to buy one now, I'd take a while to choose a good one and not worry about spending a few extra bucks.

I've had one in 12 years.
