I just want to give a shoutout to the Alesis Micron synthesizer, which is one of the best keyboards out there for around $400. The range of options and sounds it offers is phenomenal. I plan to review it soon here on MGR, but if you're in the market for a synth that is easy to use, portable and inexpensive, check out the Micron.
