Pittsburgh drummer Mark Groom (Skyliners) used to have a tutorial on Youtube called "11 cymbals in one" where he showed the range of tones than could be had from a single cymbal. Don't see it there now, but there is one of him doing a cymbals solo. Pretty interesting. I've known Mark for almost 45 years.
