This is a good pedal overall. It's really a starter pedal for a cheap kit. The old one I had was terrible and the chain kept hitting the base drum. It's a good fix for now, when funds come, better pedals will too. |

I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for an overdrive pedal that sounds like a TS9 Tube screamer and doesn't want to pay $150 & up. If it looks like a Boss and sounds like an Ibanez, It's a Johnson. Great sound & value. |

If you want amazing drum sounds, don't buy this head. But if you practice on the weekends and own a lower-priced kit, try them out. They take off any bad overtones, last forever, and always sound decent. |
