History:
Purchase: I got this about a year ago at a local music shop as a replacement for my old pacific kit.
I paid about $400 with hardware.
What I Like About This Peace Millenium: The sound is pretty good for a begginers kit. After some careful tuning and new heads, it sounds great.
My biggest complaint is that now after about three years the plys are seperating. I don't wholly blame that on Peace though, as I've had the kit in my damp basement for a while.
What I Do NOT Like About The Peace Millenium: The hardware is crap.
I put my sabian pro sonix 20" ride on the straight stand and it tipped forward easily no matter how I positioned the legs.
The pedal isn't verys sturdy, but it's not that bad. The beater slips down after a while no matter how hard you tighten it.
The high hat clutch is probably the worst part of it. After about five minutes it begins to loosen and cease to function.
My old pacific stand took care of that.
Peace Millenium Quality Rating: Like I said, the hardware isn't worth it.
The plys also might be prone to seperating, but I still don't know if it's my fault or not.
Review Summary: This kit is an OK kit for the price. In my opinion the sound is fairly close to that of the rockstar.
If you need a pretty good kit for a small price than I would recommend it.
