History:
Purchase: Purchased via internet from Music 123. I paid $299.00 including shipping.
What I Like About This Washburn WD48S: This is a very good sounding guitar with outstanding quality....not only for a mid level guitar (retail$599.00), but also good quality for those costing $900+. The Rio Grande Rosewood body and sides have a very unusual grain and will get you noticed!
What I Do NOT Like About The Washburn WD48S: Action was a little high.
Washburn WD48S Quality Rating: Very high quality. I did not expect the level of quality provided by Washburn. This is my first Washburn guitar, and I have to tell you, I am impressed with the balance, tone, and construction of this guitar. I am looking forward to the light spruce top to age and darken!
Review Summary: I could not be happier with this guitar, especially for the money. Is it a Taylor 910? NO. but then again, I didn't have to pay thousands of dollars for it. If you want a nice quitar that has been built with quality in mind, and don't have a rock star budget, check this guitar out.
