History:
Purchase: Muscians friend, it was cheap and I wanted a cheap Marshal amp, I paid $100.
What I Like About This Unit: Its small, has great tone and lots of features. Its the best practice amp you can buy if you are just starting to play guitar. Plays weel at high and low volumes and can be used for any style of music. The CD in and emulated line out are great plusses too. Its not too heavy, not too light, not too loud, not too quiet and definately not too expensive. Its just right.
What I Do NOT Like About The Marshall MG15CD 15 watt practice amp: Not quite loud enough for jamming with a band if you have a loud drummer or bassist. I dont like the contour feature on the EQ that much.
MG15CD 15 watt practice amp Quality: Very durable. Has survived 4 years of college and several viscious attacks from my dog.
Summary: The best practice/beginner amp. Make this your first amp.
