Gibson Review: Lab Series L5

Gibson Guitar Amplifiers

History:

Purchase: I bought this amp from a so called friend in 1978 for 600 dollars...who said it sounded good! After a week the valium wore off and I realized how bad this amp really sounded. It didn't take long for me to realize this baby was as bout' as usefull as a screen-door on a submarine. Holy crap this thing sounded better goin' down the stairs at my Grandma's house... evidently she didn't like for her acordian either...

Gibson Gothic Explorer - If you are considering purchasing the gothic Explorer, it will be a great investment. Thick sound, great looks, fast neck and solid construction, this guitar sounds and plays as good as it looks. ...

Gibson Songbird Deluxe Cutaway - I sent the guitar back. I didn't want to spend 200 or so bucks getting the thing fixed up the way I needed. I have a feeling that, 'set up' properly and left to sit for ten years (sic) for the wood to mature, the guitar might have been OK for anyone ...

Gibson Les Paul Junior Special - I love this guitar, no regrets. If it were stolen I hope I could find another to replace this one. But, it wouldn't be the same. I got a killer deal on this guitar....

Gibson Epiphone Junior - Great beginner guitar, I paid 40 bucks but I ould have paid 200 if I had the money. My brother has used it with his band when his guitar was busted andsaid that It sounded great. ...

Gibson B-25 - This is the best acoustic guitar I've ever played. Gibson acoustics have such a good sound compared to Martins, I'm a owner of both. This is a great guitar to gig with and also just have laying around the house. ...

Gibson Les Paul Studio - I think overall this guitar is GREAT!!! I'm 15 and was used to this crappy ibanez worth 150$ and there is SUCH A DIFFERENCE. But when you are purchasing you should make sure the individual guitar works correctly with any brand....

Gibson Les Paul Studio - Hmmm, all in all a great guitar especially if you can't afford an extremely flashy guitar, but want one that sounds just as good....

Gibson Faded Flying V - This guitar is a good starter guitar for getting into bigger brand names. BUT BEWARE, A NAME ON A HEADSTOCK DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING! The sound is great with all sorts tones. If I lost it, I wouldn't get another one. I like guitars with finishes as ...
