History:
Purchase: I bought this guitar on a whim about 3 months ago. I have been playing accoustic guitars for several years and thought I'd try a Martin. Good thing I did. Absolutely the best sounding guitar I've ever tried. Warm tones and as loud as I want it to be.
What I Like About This Unit: I love the sound.
What I Do NOT Like About The Martin D-18: This is the low end on the frills scale, but I didn't buy it for the embellishments, I bought it for the sound, and that it provides.
D-18 Quality: Spruce top with mahogony sides.
Summary: I'd buy this guitar over and over and would recommend it to others.
