History:
Purchase: I picked this guitar up used at gutar center for $100. I was loking for something cheap to hold me over while I save for a better one.
What I Like About This Samick LW-015: I like the look. The satin finish is top notch. The thin neck makes difficult chord progressions that much easier. It stays in tune for a fair amount of time, and seems to have a warm tone similar to some martins if played without a pick.
What I Do NOT Like About The Samick LW-015: When played with a pick, it has a pingy sound. I like warm tones, but those who like brighter sounds would enjoy this guitar. After swapping strings, it takes a few hours of play to work the echo out. Other that that, no complaints.
Samick LW-015 Quality Rating: Very solid and lightweight.
Review Summary: This is a great guitar for just sittin' around and picking a tune. I haven't used it in performance, but layed down on track, it sounds pretty good. A good guitar for lazy playing.
