Pulse Review: Drum Kits Pro Laquer Finish

Pulse Drums Percussion

History:

Purchase: This is the third Pulse Pro Laquer 5-Piece kit that I have ordered. As for bang for the buck you really can't do any better. They are not only a pleasure to look at, they actually have a pretty good sound when tuned properly. I have the priveledge of being a private instructor here in the Woodlands Texas and have had great success with the kits. It is truly a great set for beginners as well as a stand-by for moderate to professional players. With the Attack heads included and the rich warmth of the wood snare also included with the kit, it is a great combination. The hardware included is also sturdy and easily set up. All things considered, and with so many brands of entry level kits out there competing, most of the time, the quality factor seems to get left out. If you are in the market for a good quality All inclusive kit I recommend looking no further than your Musician's Friend web site or catelogue to find the best deal, and by all means do not over look the Pulse line. For $349.00 plus s/h it is truly a great deal.

What I Like About This Pulse Drum Kits Pro Laquer Finish: first and formost it does not look or sound like a beginners kit. second is the price

What I Do NOT Like About The Pulse Drum Kits Pro Laquer Finish: as with all inclusive kits the cymbals could use some upgrading, but as the student progresses they can always be added at a later date I suggest the meinl pack

Pulse Drum Kits Pro Laquer Finish Quality Rating: 9-ply mahogony shells, smooth beveled edges high quality finishes and appealing color selection, the blond hoops for the bass drum.....nice touch very attractive

Review Summary: I think I have about covered everything. I am so grateful that my Step-father Dennis Evers turned me on to you. He is a long time customer and has nothing but god things to say about you, and as for myself I recommend you to the several Church establishments and schools that I have contact with. Please feel free to contact me if you have any other products or promotions that you think might be of benifit to a new percussion school. Thanks again and I look forward to much more business with you in 2005. Ron Morgan Instructor, Natural Rhythm The Woodlands, TX 77381 (832)-788-0448
