Yamaha Review: Copper Snare With Nouveau Lugs

Yamaha Drums Percussion

History:

Purchase: Got this bad boy at guitar center in tempe arizona for about $350 bucks. Originally went there to just check things out and came across this beautiful snare. Tried it out and bought it.

What I Like About This Yamaha Copper Snare With Nouveau Lugs: I love the crack that comes out of this snare. It has a little ring to it, but I am sure I can get rid of it when I change the head. I am still playing the factory head and it still sounds cool. Seems like pretty durable construction. Have never played anything by yamaha, but if there other stuff is as good as this snare, then I might be changing my kit.

What I Do NOT Like About The Yamaha Copper Snare With Nouveau Lugs: Nothing. I hate changing heads, but this snare has the nouveau lugs, so it should be less time consuming.

Yamaha Copper Snare With Nouveau Lugs Quality Rating: Very durable, beautiful copper color. In my opinion it would look great with any set out there

Review Summary: I was never really into metal snares but after trying out this copper snare, I am starting to look at other metal snares. Yamaha is really good. I am not just saying that either

Rating of this Yamaha product: 5

Yamaha BB G5 - If you are considering a BB G5, this is a pointer to a G5 review that was given a wrong title. Anyway it's easy to play and affordably priced, but it's voice is possibly an "acquired taste". ...

Yamaha F-310 - For a starter guitar it is good value and plays quite nicely. After a couple of years though I would suspect that most people would want to buy a more expensive guitar....

Yamaha CG100A - A great guitar for the price I paid. I'll never part with it. I'm buying a steel-stringed jumbo (a Cort) in the near future to play blues on, but only as a contrast to the nylon-stringed Yamaha. PS: I've also played a Yamaha trombone for ten years,...

Yamaha RBX 270 - For a starter bass - I think this one rocks! It is light, easy to play and sounds good. I think with a little tuning - I can get rid of most of the fret buzz and sloppy E string (dropped to D)....

Yamaha RBX370A - If you are in the market fot a high quality budget bass I think this would be hard to beat. Definitely check this out before you buy anything else. I would then be suprised if you went anywhere else....

Yamaha fg460-sa - It's not very often that you can find an instrument for under $400 that sounds and plays better than ones costing upwards of $1000. It has been worth every penny!...
