Purchase: Bought at Manny's Music for about 1200 $ march 2004. Bought it because of it's versatility, with 2 el pickups (one jazz, and one rock), acoustic lr baggs pickup, and synth access 13-pin output for use with Roland synthesizers.
Pros: Everything! It's great quality in each part, the jazz pickup sound really nice, for tones like joe pass, adam rogers, ben monder and other great modern jazzguitarists, and the other electric pickup is great bill frisell kind of sound, (both are seymor duncan of great quality)also good for rock/funk stuff. Also the acoustic it's nice, even though you need a DI boks or an acoustic preamp to make it sound it's best. Great thing for pop-guitarists, that want to add another dimension to the sound, with this acoustic feature. There are also absolutely no problem with feedback on this system, so you can put any eq you want make middle and bass stronger without any worries. The synth part trigs very well, much better than I've experienced with the gk pickup of roland. Also you have a vib-arm, very useful also for putting some organic life into synth sounds.
Cons: If you go wild with the vibarm it doesn't keep the tuning perfectly, but hardly any guitar with vib system does that as far as I know. The guitar is heavy, since it's packed with lot's of stuff, and tight wood.
Quality: Everything is of good quality, intonation, how it's built, and most of all, the sound!

Summary: Probably the best buy I ever have done and ever will do as a guitar player. Great tone, enourmous versatility, and very easily played guitar. Also it doesn't cost that much. I compared and tried it with some cheaper brian moore guitars (that also has synth connection and acoustic), but for me the difference in tone and quality was very easy to listen, much better sound came out from the Godin! Simply just fantastic, thank you Godin!
