Waterstone Indra Review

History: I have over 25 years of playing and gigging experience. Presently I'm in a band call DRY. Summer of 2006 will mark our 11th year as a band. We play mostly in the Illinois, Iowa and Missouri areas. We play mostly classic style Rock and Roll.

Purchase: I purchased this bass directly from Waterstone Guitars. I also have 3 Tom Petersson Signature Series 12 string basses from this company. I wanted a shorter scale 4 string bass to match the 12 string basses so when this bass came out I jumped on it. I believe the price was $800.00.

Pros: Very easy and fun to play. Great sound with plenty of nice warm lows. Light weight semi-hollow body design. Fully bound neck and body. The neck is as wide as most long scale basses making more practicle to play all the time. Very high quality construction.

Cons: The only thing I didn't like was the original strings that came on it. I switched them to D'Addarios and that problam was solved.

Indra Quality: Semi-Hollow Mohagany Bound Body Fully Bound Set Neck. Short 30" Scale 2 hot humbucker pickups Tune-O-Matic Style Bridge

Waterstone Summary: This is an awesome short scale bass that has really put the fun back in playing. I have owned other short scales but was never impressed with their sound. This one has the tone and plays super fast.
