Line 6 UX2 Review

History: Playing for 17 years (Rock and Metal mostly) I also have a recording degree from the "Recording Workshop" in Chillocothe OH

Purchase: Bought new on Ebay for $200

Pros: It's an all in one solution for recording Guitars/Vox/Bass. It works fantastic and stable on windows XP with my recording software (Magix music studio 10). The guitar sounds from Line6 are really good for the price. The unit features sounds from the Bass Pod and also has excellent effect options for vocals. This one unit has easily replaced 10 seperate peices of music gear.



Cons: You have to buy additional software to bring the unit up fo the full PODXT (like the guitarport).

UX2 Quality: Excellent. Modern sound with a vintage look.

Line 6 Summary: This unit is a fantastic deal if you have a newer computer to run it on. If you can get live drum tracks into your computer then you can do high end studio work on your home PC (with a good quality condenser mic for vocals).
