Fender Musicmaster Bass Combo Review

Purchase: Bought at a pawnshop - paid $100

Pros: It's a great little Fender amp! Like a champ but with more usable volume ... Like a Princeton, but without the other stuff to rob the tone. It's just a very simple circuit, one preamp tube, two amp tubes and great distortion when cranked!



Cons: The stock speaker was kinda wimpy. I replaced it with a celestion V-30 and now she sings like a bird!

Musicmaster Bass Combo Quality: Great Fender 1970's quality!

Fender Summary: An excellent value if you can find one for under $200, which you can !
