History: Played with various rock bands during the late 70's and early 80's, then went inactive for a while, then got back into it a couple of years ago. I used both electric and acoustic guitars.
Purchase: At first, I was looking to buy a low end Taylor, but came across this model at Good Guys Music in Honolulu. I was impressed with this guitar and considered buying it at their retail price, but came across a used one on Ebay and picked it up for $150.00. It was in near mint condition.
What I Like About This Cort SFX-10: Very well made. Finish is flawless and beautiful. Action is impressive and plays better than a $800 Ibanez I previously had. Unplugged, it sounds very good for a semi-thin body acoustic, crispy with more low end than I expected. No problems with intonation. At this point, I can't say much about the Fishman pickup. I haven't put it through various types of amps and PA's yet. So far, it sounds well balanced when plugged in.
What I Do NOT Like About The Cort SFX-10: For the retail price of these guitars, I can't think of any dislikes. An ebony fret board would be nice, but that would raise the price greatly.
Cort SFX-10 Quality Rating: Construction seems sturdy and quality is better than I expected.
Review Summary: Overall, even at the MSRP of 795.00, this guitar is a good value and I would recommend these guitars to my friends.
