QSC Review: RMX2450 Power Amplifier

History: I've been playing guitar for over 30 years. Right now I'm in a 4-piece rock band. I enjoy all types of music, from rock to jazz.

Purchase: Bought this amp at Guitar center new. Paid around $600 for it. We needed more power for our PA system.

What I Like About This QSC RMX2450 Power Amplifier: I had heard of QSC quality from reading reviews and from other musicians. I chose the RMX2450 because we needed something versatile, and with lots of power. The 2450 delivers! You can run it in bridged mono mode with 2400 watts @ 2ohms, and we run it stereo at 500 watts per channel @ 8 ohms. We've gigged a lot with it and never had any problems. Always delivers power, strong and clean. We run it with 2 JBL 15's, and man do they sound sweet! Runs quiet and dependable!

What I Do NOT Like About The QSC RMX2450 Power Amplifier: This unit is very heavy! We have a road case for it with handles, and that's a must just to lug it around!

QSC RMX2450 Power Amplifier Quality Rating: Construction is very good. the cabinet and controls are well made and nicely laid out. It's simple to use.

Review Summary: If you need lots of good quality power at a nice price, this amp's for you!
