History: I don't play in a band, but I have been playing about 15 years.
Purchase: I paid about $50. I have purchased custom pickguards from this manufacturer in the past, and they have great products. The website is clear and simple. When I've received my pickguards the pickups and hole alignments have been exact. Good workmanship.
What I Like About This Terrapin Guitars Tortise Pickguard: My old tortise shell pickguard over time, warpped and dried out. I like this pickguard because it won't. It's actually a replica which the owner told me about. This is much better than tortise.
What I Do NOT Like About The Terrapin Guitars Tortise Pickguard: I like everything about this pickguard and it was made very clear what I was getting. It was an exact match and the workmanship is second to none. I purchased other pickguards from WD Music and they suck. Nothing matched up and I had to drill new holes in my guitar and shave the plastic around the neck since it was too tight. They don't care about quality. This manufacturer does.
Terrapin Guitars Tortise Pickguard Quality Rating: Construction is what I expected; great quality and a perfect fit.
Review Summary: Great product and quality craftmanship. I also like the graphic pickguards. Good print qulity. Keep up the good work.
