History: I've been playing Bluegrass and Southern
style Gospel music for over 30 years. I
play Martin, Yamaha, Estaban and Tacoma
guitars.
Purchase: I was at a music show one day and hear a
group come on and the bass was very clear.
I looked up to see what up-right was being
played, and to my surprise it was a Tacoma
CB10 Thunderchief acoustic bass; not an
up-right at all. Very soon after, I purchased one for myself.
What I Like About This Tacoma Thunderchief CB10: Clear, pure, phat bass sound but enough
high frequency response on the pickup to
get some fret sounds. Sounds like an Up-right bass.
What I Do NOT Like About The Tacoma Thunderchief CB10:
Tacoma Thunderchief CB10 Quality: Excellent construction quality.
Summary: This bass is
great! It truly sounds like an up-right
when plugged in. I will never trade this
instrument.
