Boss Review: ME30 Multi Effects Pedal

Boss Guitar Effects

History:

Purchase: I borrowed the BOSS ME-30 from a friend for about a month and a half. He said he paid $100 for it off eBAY.

What I Like About This Boss ME30 Multi Effects Pedal: It's very easy to use, even without the manual. It is very durable and reliable. It has 30 presets and 30 user patches. It has a variety of different sound styles. It has Learn a Lick built in to record a sample of a song from CD, and you can slow down the speed without changing the pitch.

What I Do NOT Like About The Boss ME30 Multi Effects Pedal: It takes about half a second to change to another effect. This sounds bad if your playing live. It's hard to keep the pedal in one position. I was playing at a gig once and I couldn't keep it at the volume I wanted. It's also hard to see the display at low light.

Boss ME30 Multi Effects Pedal Quality Rating: This unit is VERY tough and durable! It can be dropped and stepped on, and it will still play like new!(Most of the time). It lasts for a long time.

Review Summary: This is a pretty good pedal for it's price. It's more like something to buy for your first pedal or just to mess around on.

Rating of this Boss product: 4
