History:
Purchase: Bought new, Sam Ash, King of Prussia, PA. I've been saving up and my Squire finally bit the dust. $935 included case and care kit.
What I Like About This Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster 2001: Pure Fender. Noiseless Pickups --a winner. Rosewood fretboard, ash body, pearl dot inlays, smooth, fast, and toneful.
What I Do NOT Like About The Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster 2001: Floating bridge is harsh on keeping the strings in tune, but much improved on this model. Lots of tools for maintenance and setup. Setup should only be done by a professional if you want it done right. and ouch on the price! If you can afford it, you can't go wrong.
Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster 2001 Quality Rating: A+ on everything about this guitar.
Review Summary: The last electric guitar you'll ever need. Period.
