On 2002-02-04, corpse gave this Jackson Electric Guitar a 4...(1519)
Purchase: The time came to search for a metal axe. It was either a BC rich or a Jackson. Once I set eyes on this baby, for me the choice was obvious. Purchased it from a local music store for $1400 AUS.
Pros: The guitars overall appearance says it all.
Killer metal guitar. Metallic black, shark tooth inlays, great randy rhoads shape, awesome fast neck, as well as a great sound when done up. All the components needed for a nice metal guitar.
Cons: Pickups are crap in my opinion as well as the jacko licenced floyd rose. However get these items replaced and the sound will be absolutely killer. I've replaced mine with a set of EMG's (85 and 81).
I like everything else about this guitar.
Quality: Although reasonably light, the guitar feels very sturdy and nicely constructed. Just like anything else, if treated well, it should last you a very long time.
Summary: Replacing the pickups is a must on this baby if your looking for quality metal sound. Once this is done you'll have yourself a great looking and sounding metal musical instrument.
