Purchase: I got this guitar about 3 years ago as my first guitar and I got it for about $200 Pros: I like this guitar because it gives a really good sound, and a good tone and it stay in tune Cons: I think it's a little bit harder to play than most acousitc guitars, 'cause the strings are really heavy, so it hurts your fingers pretty bad at first. Quality: It has a good build and the sound is good..i just dont like the fact that it doesnt have a lamenet, mine scratches easily Summary: This is a really good guitar if you are just starting, and even if you're not. It sounds great and its fairly cheap!

Purchase: I walked into the local music store and paid 100$ for it. Pros: First off i'd like to start off and say that the satin finish on thing is just awesome. My friend who owns a Taylor said it felt like a quality guitar and that he is impressed with it. I like the action and the tuning keys. Cons: When you play it rough it seems to have a loud buzz. Thats about it..... Quality: This guitar is pretty solid. I picked up a more expensive guitar at the shop and they are a little heavier. I know that has to do with the type of wood. But still this things Burly Summary: But the thing. If you ding it so what its a cheap good quality axe.

Purchase: I bought this for my first guitar, from Flood Music in Sioux Falls SD. I paid a little over $100. It was reccommended to me by the owner of the store. Pros: This is a very lightweight guitar with very light sound. It has really good sound quality for how much I paid. Its got a warm tone and sounds best when played soft. It is also very durable, as it has been dropped several times and survived with no damage. Cons: The bridge pegs are buried so far into the bridge that I had to sacrifice cosmetics for new strings. Every time I have to dig the pegs out, the guitar suffers new bridge chips and scratches. The finish is also wearing off where the guitar rests against my body. When played loudly, this guitar has very audible buzzes Quality: Good construction. Double top bracing. Artifical bindings Summary: Great guitar for the money, Great for any beginner.

Purchase: I can't remember exactly what I paid for it...it was somewhere around $350 at Hoffman's Music in Spokane, WA about a year and a half ago. Pros: I especially like the clear, bright tone. I'm not a great guitar player...I play mostly so I can accompany myself singing...and the tone is perfect for my voice. I was doing some recording with a guy who is a phenomenal musician, and he was really impressed with the sound of it. (Of course, it sounded a whole lot better when he played it.)
I do mostly finger picking, and it's great for that! Cons: The electronics are fairly simple, so once I'm using them more I will probably outgrow them fairly quickly. Then again, I'm looking at getting an electric soon, so it may not become a limiting factor in my playing. For someone who really likes to mess with that aspect, though, this is probably not the guitar. I looked at comprably priced instruments with more complicated gadgets, but the tone of the Jasmine really hooked me & that was what I was most concerned with. Quality: My Jasmine feels very solidly built & I have had no problem with strings or keeping it in tune. Sometimes, thought, I get a little buzz on the lower strings as they vibrate against the fret board. Not sure if it's me or the guitar, however. Summary: I absolutely love my Jasmine & I would recommend it to anyone who is a true accoustic musician but wants to be able to plug in and amplify when the occassion calls for it. It's affordable, easy to adapt to and all around a lot of fun to play.
