Purchase: I got this bass from my uncle a few years ago. I don't know how much he payed for it though. Pros: Looks amazing. Very durable. Sounds great. Workable fingerboard. Precision Bass pickups. Cons: Nothing. Quality: It is made out of solid mahogany. It has a very comfortable rosewood fingerboard. A very sturdy maple neck. Football style jack-plate. Summary: I love it. I have tried out a few Fender Spuires, but none of them have sounded as solid and rich as this bass. I have also messed with more expensive Washburns, they did not sound near as good (but still good of course). BUY ONE! BUY ONE! BUY ONE!

Purchase: Acquired this bass through an online auction for a mere $130. It was brand new and factory packed. I have had it a couple of months and so far it has been an excellent instrument! It's lightweight, easy to handle, and quite honestly is a beautiful bass. I have the natural wood finish and couldn't be happier with this bass! Pros: It's lightweight, easy to handle, has a beautiful natural wood finish (although it is available in colors too), and has a very smooth action. Cons: So far I haven't found anything I don't like about this bass. Quality: Construction seems solid with clean lines and smooth finish. Looks as perfect as any bass could. Summary: This is my second bass in the last 10 years and I expect it to be the only one I'll need for several years to come. Asthetically pleasing with a clean design, this bass in my humble opinion is a GREAT bass for beginner and intermediate players.

Purchase: I bought my washburn from a musicians friend magazine for $299 dollars Pros: I like how my guitar sounds when i play it. It is a good guitar to slap and pop on.
I have had mine for a few years and it is still in very good shape. I love the purple paint too. Cons: I would have been nicer to have a full size neck but its fine. The string guide on the top of the neck was made out of plastic and it broke so i had it replaced with a ivory piece for $60.00. Quality: It has alot of dings in it and the neck is starting to crack and warp. It could have been made alot better. Summary: Overall this is an okay bass other than the plastic piece that broke the neck starting to warp and crack it still sounds okay. Im not sure if ill buy another washburn guitar at least not another xb-100 i think i will but the next xb series they are very nice guitars. I think I deserve to win that bass because i love playing it more than anyone else.
Thank you
