History:
Purchase: I bought this cute little thing at my local store, Toms River Music. It was right after Easter and I had 60 dollars to burn. So I went to the store and tried out a couple pedals within my price range. I settled on the Danelectro cause it looks cool and the sound matches the looks. So there went $52 dollars of my 60 bucks...
Pros: This unit, although I am still experimenting with tones... packs a punch. The palm muting sounds great and the tone is cool. The color of the casing, as well as the durability, make it a sleek, small pedal that every guitar player should at least try out.
Cons: Well... the thing is... the batteries do drain out quick, and the input jack has to be unplugged so that the battery does not get emptied. Also, for some reason I get a lotta feedback. It's probably cause my amp is loud or something like that. I don't know.
DJ-21 Black Coffee Metal Distortion Quality: Basically, this must have been made in the USA cause it is exactly what people want. This unit is small and strong. The sound is excellent for the price I payed for it. Danelectro Summary: The bottom line is... GET THIS PEDAL. A definite best buy, but also get a power supply for it.
