Purchase: I aquiured this guitar from the American Musical Supply website. I did so beacuase I had a need to play guitar. I paid 200 dollars for this unit and some equipment.
Pros: I love everything about this guitar. Though I haven't had much experience with the instrument, I knew that from the moment I felt the strings, touched them to the neck, and strummed, that I had made the right choice. It has a great tone, it is very easy to use and tune, beutiful coloration, and great overall quality. After using this guitar, I can safely say that my weeks of reaserch and reading reveiws has really payed off!
Cons: There is nothing that I can find about this amazing guitar that I don't find of great value and great quality. I think that this guitar was a great purchase, and if I had a choice of guitars in it's price range, I would definately chose this guitar once again. I highly reccomend the SG11 to any consumer or musician out there that are looking for a high quality, low priced guitar.
Quality: The SG11 is very well constructed, with great quality. It appears as if a lot of effort went into this guitar, and the tone of this guitar reflects it as well. Summary: Overall, the SG11 is a great buy to all people looking for a good deal. It is a high quality instrument with no major flaws. I am very glad that I purchased it as it is a great addition to any collection.

Purchase: My dad got this guitar at Music & Arts just to try something new. He payed about $260 for it.
Pros: I like how the 2 low strings sound, they have a nice tone, but, the other 4 sound horrible to me. I has a nice black finish, that's probably why my dad kept it, 'cause he doesn't like the tone. Stays in tune a long time, but I don't see him playing it a lot, so that's the reason.
Cons: Bad tone on the other 4 strings, horrible. Frets buzz all the time. Can't bend the strings.
Quality: High quality, what you expect from Fender. I accidentally bumped it into the wall like a million times, it is still okay. The pickguard is coming off (And he doesn't even play with a pick} Summary: It isn't worth the price, I don't know about the acoustic-electric but this one isn't worth it, get a Stratocaster from Musician's Friend and have fun with it.
