Purchase: I found this guitar while guitar shopping at Mars Music. I was about to leave, thinking I wouldn't find the guitar for me at Mar's when my mom pointed the most beautiful red guitar out on the wall and it was luckily in my price range! It was love at first strum. I paid $550 dollars for this wonderful instrument.
Pros: I love the beautiful mother of pearl inlays the guitar has all over it and I'm a girl so I notice beauty before price! I also love the tuner that is included on the many electronics. I just use the master volume mostly because I don't really know what everything else does.
Cons: The only thing I would say i don't like about it is that the electronic's wires keep coming down and they are very distracting as y mom says while I am on stage, but I love everything about this instrument.
Quality: I think this instrument was made very well, I'm not too sure what it's made out of but the wood has a beautiful red finish. I love the cutaway from the body, it comes in very handy. I also love the action on the neck but if I could suggest anything, I would suggest changing the strings from elixers to Martin SPs. they are the most wonderful strings I have ever played on.
Summary: I think this is the best guitar that you can buy for such a cheap price.. it's worth far more than $550! I love it and am proud to say that I am the owner of the most beautiful Alvarez guitar there is out there!
