Ibanez Review: SR 300 DX

Ibanez Bass Guitars

History:

Purchase: I bought this great bass in 1999 at Wagstaff Music for about $335. I was looking for a good begginer bass, and picked this one because it was on sale and reccomended highly by the staff.

What I Like About This Ibanez SR 300 DX: I really like the feel of the neck on this bass. It feels very comfortable even when I play more many hours at a time. I like the fact that I only have to tune it about every 3 months, and even when I do tune it it is minor. I have never had any strings break or had to replace strings yet.

What I Do NOT Like About The Ibanez SR 300 DX: I would have to say that the only thing i dislike about this bass is the fact that your have to change a battery in the back every now and then, but the battery does give it extra punch. If i had to choose another thing i didn't like it would be that even though the finish is really nice, i would rather something more than the plain black, or dark blue it comes in.

Ibanez SR 300 DX Quality Rating: The quality on this bass is really nice. I have never had a single problem with it. The finish is very solid, i have banged it a couple of times and there isn't a scratch on it, it looks just as good as the day I bought it.

Review Summary: In conclusion I highly reccomend this bass to anyone. It has served me well and has made me a fan of Ibanez basses. It plays very nice and looks very nice. I don't think I will buy anything but Ibanez.

Rating of this Ibanez product: 5
