Encore Review: KC-3

History:

Purchase: I got this for £130 as part of a set - amp, strap, tuner etc. It was my first guitar, and I still play it occasionally.

What I Like About This Encore KC-3: This guitar keeps the tuning quite well too, and the tremolo unit does not usually throw it too much out of tune.

What I Do NOT Like About The Encore KC-3: The sound leaves a lot to be desired. The neck on mine wasn't very smooth either.

Encore KC-3 Quality Rating: The construction is quite solid, and the guitar is able to take lots of knocks and bumps. Once again, the pickups lack a good sound, and there is a lot of background noise.

Review Summary: This guitar is okay for the first-time buyer. It does not have a good sound, but (almost) everyone buys more guitars, so that is almost acceptable. However, this guitar is still below par.
