Rogue Review: SX 100B

Rogue Bass Guitars

History:

Purchase: Purchased from Musicians Friend for $79.00

What I Like About This Rogue SX 100B: Light

What I Do NOT Like About The Rogue SX 100B: This is a steaming hunk of crap. I wouldnt give it to my worst enemy. It is truly a buzz machine I don't know what I was thinking.

Rogue SX 100B Quality Rating: After having it for two weeks I noticed a very loud hum that only went away after I touched a metal piece of the guitar. Also one of the tuning machines striped out while I was making a very minor adjustment After contacting Musicians Friend they told me to send the unit back at my cost for repair which I did and they sent me a brand new one. This is about the only good thing I have to say about it.

Review Summary: Please don't buy this turd save your money and get someting over $300.00 even if you are just starting out you will regret it

Rogue RB-20B 20W - Do not think of getting this amp. Just pay a little more and get a much better sound. I only bought it cause I hadnt tried it out. It is very much worth the extra money for a better amp....

Rogue CG-50B - I know hind sight is 20/20, but a Peavy Microbass would have met my needs just fine, of course it would not have been quite as loud, and would have cost less. If you need something for around the house, don't intend on moving it around and get one r...

Rogue RB-120BT - I give the RB-120BT a good rating of 5 overall but as I previously stated I am a newbie. I only bought this product after careful consideration of the other reviews that were posted concerning this amplifier. So basically I trusted other consumers ...

Rogue CG-20R - This amp is a pure beginner practice amp. There are no special features or thick, tone-solidified sound that experts or even lower intermediates can appreciate. My suggestion is that you save your money, the mere $60-80 that this costs, and place it ...

Rogue RA-100D - Over all, the guitar is a great deal for a beginner or an average player. The sound is great, crisp and warm all in one. For the price, any person could not go wrong. The company could take a little more time on their instruments and add better ...

Rogue ST-3 - This is a kick ass guitar for chump change. I would recommend it for anybody looking for a good guitar for next to nothing....
