Crate Review: BX-15 Amp

Crate Bass Guitar Amplifiers

History:

Purchase: I bought this amp a few months ago at Italmelodie in Montreal. I paid about 100-130 bucks for it.

What I Like About This Crate BX-15 Amp: I think its a pretty solid amp. it isnt too loud and the equalizer works pretty well.

What I Do NOT Like About The Crate BX-15 Amp: The speaker extension isn't very loud, even with a 180 watt speaker. The patch cord buzzes alot (but that could just be because of my patch cord).

Crate BX-15 Amp Quality Rating: sturdy, portable, pretty good sound.

Review Summary: Its not that great, but if your just starting out, or just need a practice amp that wont wake up your entire city,its perfect.

Crate GFX 212 - save, go to your nearest music dealer, and buy it.....

Crate GX 900 - really, this amp is an ok practice amp or a small backyard show, but i wouldn't recomend this to anyone that plays gigs or bigger shows....
