History:
Purchase: I acquired The Fender Squier Electric guitar package at Mars music store. I paid $200.00 dor it. It also came with a nice sized amplifier, three picks,a tuner,a cord,a soft mesh case, and a strap. It is a nice beginner guitar, and definetely a good deal. It comes in a wide range of colors, including blue, black, green, and red. They all come with a white pickguard. It has and adjustable volume control on the guitar, as well as two tone controls. The amplifier has a distortion button with four equalization controls: Treble, Middle, Bass, and Presence. The guitar also comes with a tremolo bar and extra strings. It has a nice Fender adjustable strap too.
Even if you have been playing a while, it is still a great intermediate guitar. My teacher at school bought Squier guitars to let students use. He loves them. He even likes to use one every once and a while and he's been playing for 20 years!
What I Like About This Fender Squier Strat: I find that the guitar has a very nice sound and is easy to handle. I have been plying for about a year, including several school concerts. It has never let me down.
I especially like the colors. I got a blue one, and I love it.
What I Do NOT Like About The Fender Squier Strat: I really can't find anything wrong with the guitar, but my cord started to bend at the jack after a while. It could just have been one I got but it still works.
Fender Squier Strat Quality Rating: This guitar is a very durable instrument. I have dropped it several times and nothing has happened. Every time the body gets dirty or has fingerprints on it, I just use a lint free cloth and it looks brand new.
Review Summary: Overall, this is a great deal. It is a whole guitar package for an incredibly low price. I would recommend it to any person staring out or even been playing a while. This guitar is definitely a 5!
