Behringer Review: AC 112 Vintager

Behringer Guitar Amplifiers

History:

Purchase: $289.98 online from American Musical Supply

What I Like About This Behringer AC 112 Vintager: The price. On board effects. 12ax7 tube, 60 watts, Jensen speaker. Comes with foot pedal/ The tone. The tone. THE TONE!

What I Do NOT Like About The Behringer AC 112 Vintager: Controls on top of the amp, prefer them on the fac. No tuner, Would rather have had 98 presets and a tuner. Manual was a lttle weak.

Behringer AC 112 Vintager Quality Rating: Sturdy, aesthetically nice, well made foot pedal, effects quality is superior to a lot of higher priced amps.

Review Summary: I was looking for an and trying a lot of amps in a higher price range before purchasing this one. When I saw the price I thought it must be for the floor model. I know everyone loves celestion speakers but this Jensen sounds beautiful. This is not an amp for HM, but this is a great amp for blues and classic rock. I play an SG classic with P90s and a Washburn with Duncan JB and 59 p/ups, and I can't wait to try a Strat through it. the clean channel has a nice warm full sound, and the overdrive channel has plenty of grit but is harmonically rich. I love this amp. I'll definitely get the Midi Footbard so I can utilize the wah and ease of use changing effects. I love this amp!
