Vox Review: Custom 25

Vox Electric Guitars

History:

Purchase: I bought it for £200 Irish. It was second hand from a store (Rock Steady), and was pretty much a never-regretted impulse buy.

What I Like About This Vox Custom 25: It's a quality feeling guitar with a great sound. The wood is amazing, and the thru neck really lets you know it's something special. It's also really, really heavy...

What I Do NOT Like About The Vox Custom 25: The heaviness can be a bummer sometimes, but I stuck a nice leather strap on it and that took care of that. The tremelo only bends down, but this doesn't really bother me much.

Vox Custom 25 Quality Rating: Construction: fantastic. Quality: fantastic.

Review Summary: I paid a low price for this. I think it's worth as lot more as a player, and will never sell it.

Rating of this Vox product: 4

Vox Cambridge 30 Reverb 1x10 - This would be a good amp for somebody who has been playing for 2 years and wants to start jamming with a band. Just loud enough to play with a drummer but not loud enough to rock an arena by far. I shouldn't be so hard on the overdrive channel beca...

Vox Custom 25 - I've long since given up any thought of chopping this up. If you see one of these come up- do yourself a favour and buy it!...
