Rogue 4 String Electric Bass SX100B Review

History:

Purchase: I bought this Bass at Musicians Friend, for eighty dollars.

Pros: I liked the price of the guitar, and the quality sound that first came out of the guitar.



Cons: I did not like the fact that the shipping took forever. Most importantly the guitar had not been handled very carefully in the box.

4 String Electric Bass SX100B Quality: The construction of the guitar was very bad, and the sound quality began to fade after a week. Most importantly, the tone knob came off the guitar right away. The hardest part of this guitar was the tuning. The strings were already bad, but what do expect for eighty bucks, yet the tuners broke when I first tried to tune the instrument. When I opened the tuner the nut was made of a very cheap pot metal. The guitar cost $120 to fix, and the picked had to be replaced.

Rogue Summary: I feel this is the perfect guitar for firewood, or possible to hit the manufacturer of the guitar. Don't waste your money by buying this piece of crap!
