Purchase: After playing electric guitar I wanted to explore an acoustic - electric. Paid $399
Pros: This is a new model for Takamine this year. Much like the EG530 but has a black finish with gold machines and improved electronics with on board tuning which is a nice feature. Bass, mid and treble eq., eq bypass, gain and notch filter controls. Guitar has a great full rich sound unpluged and a real good sound plugged in. String action is quite light. Guitar didn't need any setup right out of the box.
Cons: Finish has a few "wrinkles"
Quality: Construction is solid and other than the minor finish "wrinkles" it is definatly a quality instrument.
Summary: An absoloutly Great guitar for the price!
