Purchase: Bought it on Carvin's website. I picked all of the options I wanted and called them with an order. One nice thing is that have a large number of basses in inventory that you can see pictures of. It helped alot in visualizing what my bass would look like
Pros: Build quality is first class!!! I got the "P-Series" which has piezo-electric pickups in the bridge saddles. On top of the single coild and stacked humbucker, I can any sound I want. It also has 3 band active EQ and 18 volt power (yes, it has 2 9V batteries). The tung oil neck is awesome!
Cons: Waiting 6-8 weeks for it to be delivered was brutal, but other than that I love it. I will definitely buy another Carvin in the future.
Quality: Simply put, awesome. It was setup and ready to play when it was delivered.
Summary: You can't go wrong here, especially with the factory direct price!
