Squier Review: Affinity Strat

Purchase: This was a Christmas gift from my dad.

What I Like About This Squier Affinity Strat: This is by far the ultimate BEGINNER'S guitar.It has decent sustain, a whammy bar and is bay far one of the most durable guitars i have ever played. I have dropped it on several occasions and it still plays as good as it used to. The best thing about this is that it is inexpensive so if guitars aren't for you then it is no big loss but if they are this is still a good gigging guitar, i personally use it as my back up onstage.

What I Do NOT Like About The Squier Affinity Strat: I did not take great care of mine so the neck is slightly warped and the input jack is never screwed on right, but if I did then it would be in much better condition now. The neck joint is slightly thick for my taste(plus the fact that i like to hang my guitar really low when onstage doesn'thelp much) and gets in the way for upper fret usage.

Squier Affinity Strat Quality Rating: Overall good quality guitar. May need to be tuned every few days after heavy use but other than that it's good. Some of the fretwire sticks out at the bottom and may cause slight inconvenience.

Review Summary: Great beginner electric guitar, I will probably playing mine untill the day it falls apart, which may take a while.
