History:
Purchase: This guitar was purchased at H.E.L. Music in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. The price was $399 CDN.
What I Like About This Seagull S6+ Cedar: The way this guitar plays is the most impressive thing.
The action is very low, there are no dead spots and the guitar stays in tune, even with hard playing.
The finish is plain but very esthetically pleasing and the entire guitar is very well finished.
There are a few blemishes which actually enhnace the look.
The headstock is very nice.
What I Do NOT Like About The Seagull S6+ Cedar: The neck is quite wide but once you are used to it it is excellent.
Seagull S6+ Cedar Quality Rating: The finger board is rose wood abd well done. The frets are very smooth.
The action is very low and the guitar is very easy to play.
The guitar is very loud and since the finish is light the resonance is much better than more expensive products.
Review Summary: For the price and a new manufacturer you may think that this is just a beginners guitar, but believe me, once you play it, the SeaGull will be your ONLY acoustic.
Best new product in a long time.
Enjoy.
